Exhibition : peintures de Françoise Martin

Françoise Martin presents her paintings in an exhibition at the Centre Culturel de Verviers.

Fanfan doesn't live in the same world as us; she creates her own world according to her moods, inhabiting it and sometimes coming back to colour ours. Her abundant world is complex and original, while forming a coherent universe that perfectly represents her personality. The omnipresent flora can be extremely subtle or sometimes naive, but always in motion. The leaves and flowers, often endowed with a look, a personality, seem to invite you to join them and dance with them. Her paintings are like windows: they bring light and we see life through them. Her work is sincere and instinctive, but if you know her, you know that it's the fruit of precise, long-term work. She transfers a lot of energy into each painting, and that's what makes them so brilliant. - Maxime Regnier

Free admission: The exhibition is open Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 12.30pm and 1pm to 5pm, during Espace Duesberg shows and activities, and by appointment for groups.
