Heritage Takes Center Stage in Verviers
From Friday, June 12, to Sunday, June 14, 2026, Verviers will host the event “Heritage Takes Center Stage.” Sixteen partners will open their doors to the public for a cultural and culinary exploration of the city.
On the program: guided tours, notably at the Laine et Mode Tourist Center, the Jean-Philippe Darcis Chocolate Museum, the Verviers Brewery, and several other venues, as well as unique “lunch time” events and festive receptions at the end of the day.
As the last major city in eastern Belgium before the Fagnes, VERVIERS retains many traces of the period when it was one of the wealthiest cities in the kingdom... What better way to discover the rich history of this cloth-making city and hear fascinating anecdotes from its residents—who are proud to show you the best of their beautiful city—than with a short weekend getaway?
Participants can register for one, two, or three days. The fee is 50 euros per day. Accommodation is optional and not included. Registration is required by phone at 087/78.79.99 or by email at info@paysdevesdre.be >> Maison du Tourisme du Pays de Vesdre
