The Wool & Fashion Tourist Centre
The Wool and Fashion Tourist Centre, established in a remarkable "industrial castle" and inaugurated in 1999, brings together, in a same and single venue, several centres of interest: several rooms housing temporary exhibitions, a vast area for seminars, a documentation centre about wool and an attractive series of displays on wool. The latter, which is a veritable interpretation centre on wool, reveals to both children and adults alike the steps required to make wool during the glorious era of the wool industry in Verviers. Thanks to individual audio-guides (available in several languages), visitors can discover a "yarn about wool" or "as time weaves its way past".
Come and visit by yourself or with the family…!
Closed on 25th December and 1st January. Visits can be booked on Mondays but for groups only. Accessible to people with reduced mobility. Individual or group visits: with a professional guide or using an audio-guide available in 4 languages (FR, NL, EN and DE). For groups of adults and school groups: personalised activities according to the age of the participants.
This is a CGT labelled "Three Sun" tourist attraction.
