The Museum of Archaeology and Folklore

| Attention! The Museum of Archaeology and Folklore was badly affected by the floods of 15.07.21 and is not accessible at the moment! Thank you for your understanding!

The Museum of Archaeology and Folklore, a charming venue, is housed in a superb Louis XV style patrician's residence. Furniture from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries arranged into uniform groups give life to this imposing town house.

Lovers of lace will not hesitate to come and (re)discover the remarkable Belgian, Italian and French collection on display on the second floor (not far from the archaeological, prehistoric and Roman ruins found in the region of Verviers).

It should also be noted that the basement of this listed monument is fully open during the Christmas period, to reproduce Bethlehem in Verviers, for the delight of children and adults alike.
