CTLM exhibition: ‘Witches, the revival of witches’.

Exhibition to be seen from 7 March to 10 May 2025 inclusive, at the Centre Touristique de la Laine et de la Mode in Verviers.

‘Tremble, the witches are back! Witches fascinate as much as they frightened our childhood dreams. No feminist event is complete without a reminder of this historic figure. They transgress norms, reminding us that it's not always easy to claim access to knowledge, or to fully experience emancipation as a woman’. This travelling exhibition, produced by the ULB, is made up of illustrated panels that look at witches from different angles, from the witch-hunt of the 15th century to today's ecofeminism, and including the figure of witches in art, literature, film, etc.

Dates of guided tours: Saturdays 15 March, 5 April, 26 April & Sundays 23 March, 13 April. Guided tours start at 2pm and 3.30pm.
