Accompanied by Thomas Lambiet, a well-known historian in our region, Best of Verviers invites you to discover the historical heart of our city of Verviers along a circuit comprising 20 remarkable sites. We wish everyone a pleasant stroll through Verviers.

A rather sporty tour, mainly along the right bank of the Vesdre. The Hautes Mezelles, the Promenade des Récollets, the Al-Cute bridge,... and other surroundings of the centre to impress you!

The Conseil Communal des Enfants de Verviers presents a playful route called "Suis-moi", which resembles a Cluedo, with a question and answer game.
These children would like to encourage parents, teachers, young people and adults to favour outdoor activities and soft mobility.
Scenario: A dangerous criminal has captured a child from the local council in a specific place with a specific weapon. "Help us identify him! We need your help".

Verviers, our wool-making town, is undoubtedly rich in its industrial past, its culture and its famous people... 
With this in mind, historian Freddy Joris, chairman of the Comité Scientifique d'Histoire de Verviers and former director of the Institut du Patrimoine wallon, has written "La Nouvelle Biographie verviétoise", the first three volumes of which give an excellent account of those who have inevitably left their mark on Verviers.
Around thirty of these famous people, "Les Illustres verviétois", are highlighted on a whole series of panels on the fronts of houses and businesses in Verviers.
Would you like to discover these new tourist routes and, above all, the Verviers personalities represented? We're delighted to offer you 4 different routes: white (west), blue (town centre), black (east) and green (greater Verviers).

Come and visit Verviers, a former wool-making town, with a rich industrial past that you can discover thanks to this out-of-the-ordinary and unique route "Weaving through the Town".This superb 3.5 kilometre urban route highlights many authentic textile machines dating from different eras of the wool industry and will also take in the most interesting buildings in Verviers. The architectural heritage of Verviers is most certainly worth the detour!

For some years now, thanks to several highly involved Verviers associations and the City of Verviers, frescoes have been springing up all over the centre.With this walk, we propose to show you all of them, each in their own style but always to highlight the walls of our wool city.This very colourful 6.5km urban route will enable you to discover these works of art, which are sometimes to be found in more discreet places in our town but never far from our magnificent heritage.

Discover the magnificent medieval village of Limburg, elected "One of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia". A lovely one-kilometre walk in the heart of this ancient Duchy to discover the most beautiful buildings in Limburg.
The architectural ensemble formed by the village of Limbourg was registered on the list of the exceptional real estate heritage of Wallonia on 19 July 1993. In addition, many buildings are individually listed, as well as the pavements of the square and the pavements.
You will be amazed by the remarkable houses, the old Town Hall, the Fountain of the Virgin, the church of Saint-Georges, the castle and more...
